Hi, I'm Tomas — the technician behind OnlineFix. I've been taking electronics apart to see how they work since I was a kid, and that same curiosity is still what gets me to the bench every day. The only difference now is that they go back together better than I found them.

Over the past 7+ years I've worked across several high-street repair shops in Guildford, and I still work as an advanced technician at iSmash in town. That keeps me hands-on with the latest phones day in, day out, so my skills stay sharp and current — not learned once and left to go rusty.

I started OnlineFix to do repairs the way I'd want them done for me: a clear, honest process, fair pricing, and a genuine focus on quality — the right solution for your problem, done to a standard that lasts.

That standard matters more than most people realise. In my experience, around 9 in 10 high-street repair shops don't have the skill or knowledge to fix a device to the manufacturer's specification. Corners get cut on official guidance, or cheap third-party parts get fitted to protect margins — and that's exactly what brings a device back with new faults a few weeks later. I'd rather take the time to do it properly the first time.
